Neil Massey

Photographer Neil Massey spent six years photographing Vietnam. He captures the hidden corners in his first "Vietnam collection'. 'Sống, Monobloc, Untitled and Bloody Chunks are divided thematically and were shot over different time frames in different cameras.

For Neil, it was fundamental that the people designing the books lived in Vietnam. Rice devised a sparse layout style that placed all emphasis on the images, unified from book to book. The 4 individual sizes are scaled evenly, with Sống’s snapshots displayed in a A5 handbook format, whereas the vivid and raw images from Bloody Chunks are formatted to a larger A3 tabloid size.
