Further develop upon the rice process and way of working by being critically minded and ambitious about making things work better.

Take ownership of projects and help develop the towards successful outcomes for our clients and our agency.

Build and mentor the design team, and work with the Creative Director to challenge and refine briefs and processes which support the delivery of better, more strategic and more excellent design.

Lead projects from initiation to completion by collaborating with strategy team and designers through conceptualization, execution and production with support from the Creative Director, Project Management, and production team.

Be responsible for ideating original and differentiating concepts, experiences and design solutions that bring strategy to life into design systems that support brands and the health of their branded environments.

Present work—rationally connecting strategic directions to visual, verbal expressions to sell ideas to both clients and within the studio at large.

Ensure the completion of documented design systems as well as comprehensive guidelines ready for delivery.

Collaborate across the studio to push standards.

Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and news to be a well informed leader and representative of rice

Maintain a high standard of craft and execution in all design deliverables for both client work and internal initiatives

Communicate clearly and often to rice leadership about how they can better support and facilitate your energetic, efficient, and most successful work

5+ years working experience in similar role;

Highly-skilled & well-rounded across all channels of graphic design and identity systems, and in various platforms, from digital to physical;

Multi-disciplinary, with a solid foundation of design theory and practical tools;

Collaborative. Proactive. Positive. Rigorous.

A great communicator, strong presentation and interpersonal skills;

Team and project leader (ability to bring people together, to reinforce them in their own contribution, and lead a project from A to Z);

Proficiency in English, both spoken and written;

Capacity to work both independently and within teams;

Equal parts creative & strategic;

A restless thinker with a desire to challenge, surprise and stretch those around you;
